Discussion: Neuropsychology
Neuropsychology is one of the psychology disciplines that deals with groups rather than individuals. Use your initial post to write about a professional setting and typical day of a practicing neuropsychologist. Include the kind of project(s) he or she is working on, the type of information handled, challenges that might be encountered, and the group or groups that will benefit. Support your statements by citing the readings from this week. Your initial post should be about 250 words.
Respond to the posts of two or more peers. Picture yourself in this setting, performing these activities, and addressing these challenges. Explain how cultural awareness/competence and neuropsychological assessment enter into your activities. Also, present how, during the day described by your peer, you might interact with a clinical psychologist.
