The Hymn to the Aten (14th c. BCE Egypt)) and Psalm 104 (7-5th c. BCE Israel) are often compared as two examples of the same ancient genre of songs of religious praise. Compare them in structure, content, and expression. Be specific, going paragraph by paragraph. Do you think the likeness can be explained simply by genre similarities, or do you see the direct influence of the Aten Hymn on the Psalm? How does this form of praise differ from Enheduanna's Exaltation of Inanna in your reader?
