Eco-technological system:
Find an example of an eco-technological system (e.g., newspaper article, case study on a website, or from your own experience and observation). Describe the system (a brief summary so I know what you are talking about) and analyze how ecological and technological elements interact. Discuss what ecosystem services this system is designed to provide. From your perspective (supported by drawing on the readings and lectures), reflect on what its design and the services it provides says about the relationship between humans, technology and nature?

Essays should be 3-4 pages (.doc, 12 pt. Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1” margins). The page limit does not include references (just be consistent in your citation format). You will be expected to use and cite readings from the course to support your arguments.
