An example of AI use that I have participated in is using AI chatbots. They operate similar to talking to an actual person. You type a prompt or a question and based on what you type or ask it will generate an answer to what you are asking to do within the confines of its programing and integrated community guidelines. I personally have used AI chatbots for many things from getting out of writer's block in creative writing to having it help me understand concepts in school I don't quite understand and need it explained in a way I can understand. The use of AI chatbots benefits people in many ways, as I stated my uses for it I have seen people use it for recipes and future planning, the beneficial uses are endless.

On the other side of the argument, as many have stated before privacy, bias, and job impact are very relevant and valid concerns. My concern however is the overuse of AI to the point that people use it to replace human interaction and social settings. With Chatbots, depending on what you choose, be it ChatGPT or DeepSeek, you can customize them to have a chosen personality so close to the point that some people may be get confused as to if they are talking to human beings or not. This in my opinion is far more concerning than privacy, bias, or job impact. The human impact is greater because it will just further diminish the human ability to think critically and make decisions if all people do is type a question and have programed response given to them.

Everyone should know and understand the risk of AI just as well as they understand the risks of driving a car. As AI is now becoming an increasing part of people's everyday lives they need to understand that with every prompt, or question you ask, there is a possibility of you opening yourself to your unintentional consequences of its use. People need to understand that if they rely on AI everyday for even the simplest thing such as cooking dinner, they run the risk of it becoming a sort of addiction and stunt their abilities to think without AI. The risks to their privacy, with every word you use to describe a situation you are in, or a small personal detail, you are giving it the data with every keystroke. This data can and will be sold to companies to use with their algorithms to either scam or tailor social feeds to a situation you wrote a prompt about in ChatGPT just days or weeks before. When using AI for anything it can be very useful, for people with crippling mental health issues it can help them find ways to overcome certain things like deciding dinners, which I admit I have done before with my mental illness, or even helping them pinpoint what might be wrong with them physically so they can visit a doctor for an official diagnosis and testing.
