Assignment task: This assignment should be completed after viewing the films "First Steps" and "The Birth of Humanity" in the NOVA film series "Becoming Human." They're about 50 minutes each.
After the films, CHOOSE ONE of the following questions to answer:
1. Describe and discuss the importance of at least three specific skeletal features (these can be either cranial or post-cranial) that are unique to early hominids, that distinguished them from the ancestors of modern chimpanzees.
2. Identify and describe the evidence that tells us about ancient hominin behavior (either Australopithecines or early Homo) (Don't just talk about the behavior, but about the evidence that suggests that behavior)
The response should be about 150-200 words in length and should be written in clear, concise language which is grammatically perfect.
