Every year firefighters lose their lives on the job, which has an enormous impact on the fire service and firefighters who continue to put their lives on the line to protect their communities. Why does the American fire service continue to have firefighters die from the same events? Why is it that fire service leaders cannot identify the issues and implement programs to stop these deaths?
