M2D1: External Environment Analysis
Knowing the external environment around an organization is as important as knowing the organization itself.
Evaluate your current organization (Medical Device Company, Medtronic). You may research any organization of interest if you do not have a current organization to analyze. Respond to the following:
1. Identify the three most important elements of the general environment that impact your organization.
2. Identify the three most important elements of the industry environment that impact your organization.
3. How do these environmental elements relate to the five forces of competition?
