Assignment: Evaluate the Administration and Logistics of a Given Event
Scenario:
Listen to the audio (https://extmedia.kaplan.edu/business/AB270/AB270_1405B/Video/AB270U3/player.html) of one of the guests describing the birthday party for a 21-year-old whose mother decided to hire her neighbor's daughter's friend who is just starting out in the event planning business. The budget our inexperienced event planner received was $8,000. She had 3 months in which to plan this party. There are relatives and friends flying in from points west and south into Montreal, Canada in October for this barbeque which will take place on a Saturday from 12 noon to 6 p.m. The mom has told the event planner she does not have to worry about arranging airfare. However, all the attendees will be arriving that same morning of the event and need transportation to the event site.
