Evaluate jack frost liability using negligence standard

Assignment task:

Jack Frost Enterprises manufactures a variety of products to "make life in cold weather better". One of their products is a heated ice scraper that heats a plastic scraper using battery powered heating coils. The heater is activated by an on/off switch on the scraper. Tina Teenager, who obtained her driver's license two weeks prior, excitedly turns on her Jack Frost heated ice scraper to clear the frost from the car windshield as she prepares to drive to school. She turns off the heat and puts the scraper on the front passenger seat of the car.

As she is driving, Tina smells smoke and notices that the scraper is burning. In a panic she swerves, jumps the curb and runs into the front façade of a store. Tina suffers a few cuts and bruises, but the car is damaged beyond repair. In addition, the store suffers $50,000 in damage. Tina sues Jack Frost Enterprises for product liability for all damages described previously. During the investigation it is discovered that Jack Frost ordered a 50% increase in production of heated ice scrapers in response to a forecast of an early winter season. Because of the order, the unit manufacturing the ice scrapers moved all of the inspection personnel to the production line. As it turns out, all of the scrapers produced between October 15 and November 1 had faulty electric coils that went undetected by Jack Frost due to the lack of inspectors Tina's scraper was one of those manufactured during that time. Please evaluate Jack Frost's liability using the Negligence standard, including all elements and defenses.

Please answer using the IRAC method.
