After reading "The Dark Side of Social Media" on page 19 of the new 2nd edition, ask yourself the following questions:
Can you relate to the students in the study who abstained from their media "toys" for 24 hours? Have you ever tried to abstain from your media "toys" for any period of time? Do you think you would feel the same as many of them reportedly did? Discuss with the class.
The response should include a reference list. Using double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
