3. The courts have taken various approaches to the problem of a relocating custodial parent. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each approach.
4. Historically, the emphasis has been to keep a child with its natural parents if at all possible, or to place a child with blood relatives, with institutionalization or foster parents as a distant, reluctantly ordered alternative. Is this appropriate? Why or why not? Can you think of exceptions?
