During the summer months, grocery stores, convenience stores, and gas stations sell bags of ice. Independent random sample of bags were obtained from various locations, and the weight (in pounds) of each was recorded. The summary statistics are given in the following table.
a. Do the data suggest that the population mean weight of bags of ice is the same at these five locations? Use a = 0.001.
b. If each store sells these bags of ice for approximately the same price, where would you make your purchase? Justify your answer.
