Assignment:
Pick an event, or person, or issue that is in the news right now.
Tell me where you got your news from about that subject. Then find news about that subject in two other sources. Make sure to identify each source clearly, with the date of the source.
Then do a media analysis on your sources. Are they fair and balanced? Distorted and prejudiced? Some of both?
What the “news” tells us can be different depending on who is telling the story. Are all of your sources telling the same story? Why or why not?
