Your sales office is made up of people who are very different in their lifestyles and their stages of life. Mary is a 23-year-old single parent who is working to support her family. Jonathan is 60 years old, exptremely wealthy and works because he enjoys it. Jane is married, 45 years old and has few interests outside of the office. As the office manager, you think that you should apply motivation theories from your text but you are not suer what motivates these individuals, the group as a whole, and what theory would be most effective. Describe and illustrate how you would diagnose and improve motivation within your office.

Discuss the difference between "Management" and "Leadership" in relation to how each would lead to different organizational behavior in the sales office described in the prior question.
