Discussion Post -Idea Generation
New-product development begins with idea generation. Typically, companies have to generate many ideas in order to find a few good ones.
For your discussion:
• think of one of your favorite products. Your job is to take your favorite product to the "next level." Using currently available versions of your favorite product, what new product ideas can you generate?
• For your reply post, discuss another student's idea. What are your thoughts? Do you feel that their idea would succeed in the marketplace? Why or why not? What can make the concept stronger?
