Problem: A conflict happening at work is between my supervisor and my coworker. My coworker works 8:30am to 5:30pm and has been with the company for almost 2 years. She requested a schedule change to 7:30am to 4:30pm due to just buying a new house and her commute to and from work is 1hr and 45min. Schedule changes are never honored so I already knew that this would be an issue. My supervisor was very hesitant to discuss this with my coworker.
