Make questions and comments on this cultural experience "As a healthcare worker I see many different aspects I am learning on and about on a daily basis. Having now worked in a few different positions in a professional medical office setting I quickly have become accustomed to several cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds. I am sure many have heard the phrase, "the front line" of healthcare, and growing up I personally always thought, it was the ones who took care of you such as the doctors, nurse practitioners, or even the nurses, but I grew to learn that the front line also means the people you converse with before even seeing or speaking to the doctor, nurse or whoever it may be. I worked in this front line spot for a couple of years, having to adjust to the norm of thoroughly learning how to respond and react quickly, diligently, and professionally based on the situation that was at hand, whether it was over the phone, or directly right in front of me, I had to know how to appropriately serve the patient to know who I needed to direct their issue to.
