Assignment:
The Conflict Styles Inventory. This is an old-school (paper and pen) conflict style assessment that parallels the discussion in Chapter 10 (10.4) in your textbook regarding the five common styles in handling conflict.
Then watch the following Ted Talk by William Ury, one of the world's leading experts on negotiation:
Question 1: Consider the self-assessment above that you completed, and consider Kwame Christian's and William Ury's observations. Reflect on what they all reveal about you. Write a paragraph of at least 150 words that accomplishes the following: Need Assignment Help?
- Identify the name of the self-assessment you completed.
- Report the results/scores of the self-assessment.
- Evaluate how accurately you believe that these results/scores describe you.
- Conclude by presenting the greatest strengths you perceive from these results and/or--perhaps more importantly--the greatest opportunities for growth.
Question 2: Select one lesson from the reading that you find especially interesting and that will make you a better colleague.
- Briefly describe that lesson and why it is important. Don't forget to include the page citation like (Bauer and Erdogan, 143).
- Explain how you will apply that lesson to yourself in your current or future organization, and
- Explain how those efforts will make you a better and more effective colleague.

- Explain how you will apply that lesson to yourself in your current or future organization, and
- Explain how those efforts will make you a better and more effective leader.
