As you have learned, having a solid job search network in place is vital to your success in finding a job. Even more important...USING the people in your network! Remember, a good contact is a person who can give you career advice, tell you about job openings, help set up an interview or refer you to people who can help you with any of these. Think about what you have learned in this module in terms of networking and brainstorm a list of possible contacts you already have in your job search network. Include family, friends, classmates, coworkers, NC employees, spouses of people you know, children of people you know. Consider all the people you might have a connection with.
Then, consider social networking as it relates to the job search process/ Discuss why social networking is so important in securing a job in today's market. For your responses to other students, connect to and expand on the ideas presented in response to the questions.
