Guidelines: paper on the role early Islam played in Middle Eastern politics using the following guidelines
a) In an introductory paragraph, sum up the beginnings of Islam, focusing on the most significant actors (individuals) and institutions. How and why do you consider the actors and institutions you chose as the most significant as compared to those you left out?
b) For the rest of the paper, discuss what you consider to be the two most important contributions made by Islam to the early political arrangements in the region. Justify why a reader should agree with you that the two contributions you chose are the most important.
