I. Imagine you have just been hired as the manager for a retail sports store that will open soon in your local mall. Discuss how you will use planograms in the promotion and merchandising of your store's products. Assume that the store only has customer access from the main walkway in the mall and that you have two large window display areas on either side of the store's entrance.
II. You are the manager of a local sports retail store and have just hired two new sales associates for the annual holiday shopping season. Both new hires have limited sales experience. Discuss the strategies you will use to train these new team members to promote products and sell to customers and educate them about the customer psychology and purchasing decision making.
