Design Requirements
Design a MATLAB based GUI system in one of the following domains:
1. Digital audio compression to reduce the transmission bandwidth requirement of digital audio streams and the storage size of audio files.
2. Voice recognition and execution of speech commands. No more than five commands is enough. Example: move an object on the front panel with the voice commands as up, down, right or left (or any other commands of your choice).
Report Requirement
1. Introduction with a description of your design; i.e. what does it do? How does it do it? List all references.
2. At least three samples of I/O
3. Discussion.
• Discuss the quality of performance; i.e. how efficient is your system? What are the pitfalls?
• Who can find this system useful?
4. Appendix: MATLAB code, properly documented.
