The Los Angeles Times editorial"The Meaning of U.S. Citizenship" presents a number of controversial proposals to reform U.S. immigration policy, including:

1. Immigrants who are in the country illegally should be given a "path to citizenship".

2. Children born to parents who are not here legally should not be entitled to "birthright citizenship"

3. Young people who are here illegally should be provided with a special "path to citizenship" if they meet certain  educational or military service requirements (as in the DREAM Act).

4. Young people who are here illegally should be allowed to stay indefinitely as non naturalized residents without the full rights of citizenship.

 Write a persuasive essay arguing for or against one of the four proposals above.Support your argument with reasons and evidence, including (1) at least one quote or paraphrese of a specific passage from each of two of the articles below AND(2)at least one quote or paraphrese od a specific passage from a newspaper, magazine,or journal article from ojne of the library databases.
