Problem
Students will apply the formation & concerns of Pacific Islander Studies by analyzing at least three texts that speak to the issues & concerns of Pacific Islander Studies including themes related to, but not limited to: Discuss the following:
a) Land struggles & sovereignty, indigeneity
b) The role of Oceanic students, scholars, universities & communities
c) Black power & pacific solidarity
d) Colonization
e) Decolonization indigenous sovereignty
f) Demilitarization & anti-nuclear movements
g) Health & well-being.
