Management theories were developed and used to increase productivity and service quality. No one managers use a singular theory. They use a combination of several theories, depending on the organization: contingency theory, chaos theory, and systems theory.
Discuss the difference between managers and leaders. Include in your discussion the different types of leadership styles and management theories? What is the difference between authority and power?
