Discussed some of the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act and the Government in the Sunshine Act. These federal laws are applicable to federal agencies. Next, we will consider how the State of Utah addresses these issues. Every state will have differences. However, it is helpful to understand the ways in which state law may differ from federal law. The assigned book for this course does not provide any helpful information for this module.
