People often wonder how something like the Salem Witch Trials could have actually happened. How did people get so scared/hysterical that they ended up executing so many people? Discuss some of the events that led to the witch trial hysteria. Was anything particularly surprising/disturbing to you? What did you learn about the trials that you didn't previously know? Think about the factors that influenced the accusers and the townspeople that supported them (and also those who did not). Can you make any modern day connections? Do you see any kinds of "witch hunts" that are happening or have happened in our present society?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
