Assignment task:
Select and review a number of scholarly sources that discuss social work practice with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and/or communities in the context of a relevant and appropriate practice area of choice.
Based on the analysis of the chosen sources, discuss the role social work practice can play in struggles over inequality and social justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and Communities.
A practice area relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and/or communities is identified.
Student's analysis is argued critically and succinctly, directly discussing concepts of social injustice and inequality in the context of their chosen practice area.
The students' review (comprehension and analysis) draws on scholarly references to support their analysis, and an evaluation of the source is provided.
The literature review format should include the following:
- Introduction
- Analysis/discussion (ideally one source per paragraph)
- Conclusion
