Discuss personalities gravitate toward nursing profession

Assignment:

Nursing professionals exhibit a significantly higher level of secondary psychopathy than general medical professionals. In at least two paragraphs identify why you think this may be. Consider personalities that gravitate toward the nursing profession, career related trauma exposure, expectations of altruism, etc.

This response can be less formal in nature. Recall a time in your career where you have cared for (as a nurse) or worked with someone who exhibited traits of a personality disorder. Of course, we will not be diagnosing this individual as that is unethical. As you recall these experiences that you had with that individual what would you do differently now? Would you have stronger boundaries? More empathy? Less trust? More compassion?
