Since the 1980s, increasing globalization has motivated connections and exchanges among world economies, cultures, political and educational systems, and technologies. But today there appear to be signs that globalization has failed or is failing. Consider forces today working for and against globalization: competitive business & economic forces; cultural & demographic forces; nationalist & political forces, technology & education forces.
