On 19 July 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of the High Speed Rail (HSR) system connecting Kuala Lumpur and Singapore was inked between Singapore and Malaysia.
However, the old agreement has since been replaced by a new one, signed as recently as 5 September 2018.
