I. What is the primary theme/issue being addressed in the film? Which theories, concepts, approaches, or hypotheses discussed in class can be applied to the portrayals in the film? Discuss the major assumptions of the theory, and give a short synopsis of how the film portrays its content.
II. Discuss important examples or strong points from the film. How do the events or actions confirm or refute the assumptions behind the theory or concepts involved? If there is more than one theoretical viewpoint or relevant hypothesis/concept to apply, note it.
III. Discuss whether or not the claims in the film are realistic/convincing enough for you to buy into the argument made in the film. What flaws are there in the theory? Can you think of historical examples that confirm or refute the assumptions of the theory?
