The authors of "Why Our Feminism Must Be Intersectional (And 3 Ways to Practice It)" discuss the importance of intersectionality in the feminist movement as well as across various other social identities and activist platforms. They suggest the third possible way to practice embracing intersectionality as a tangible action in our own lives is to be willing to make mistakes. They claim, "It's less constructive to avoid mistakes and bristle at criticism than it is to be open to learning, growing, and self-correcting as part of a continuous process" (Uwujaren and Utt). Why do you think this is such an important strategy in relation to this topic in particular? According to the authors, how can being brave enough to openly make mistakes assist us in learning and growing?
