The identification of DNA as the genetic material and the solving of its structure created the field of Molecular Biology. Since that time, the analysis of macromolecules in particular DNA, RNA, and protein has been applied in many different fields. Of these, the application of DNA analysis techniques has been become quite widespread. Choose one of the following areas and briefly discuss how DNA analysis is used and what information it can yield.
