Growing up, I never told my parents I was gay, as I was not even sure what was happening to me; however, as I became older due to my effeminate attributes, family and community members would say that I was gay, they call me BATTYBOY, fish These are derogatory term used to call gay men in my country even when my sisters and I get into argument they will used these terms at me, it was never a good feeling when my own family member call me out on this problem that I am internally battling with.
