Get a hold of one current story, event, or news item that relates to race and ethnicity (of that week's theme) it could be an article, a video, something in the popular culture, etc., and then provide a brief critical summary
- It can focus on discrimination against White Ethnic Americans or how they are privileged because they are labeled as White Ethnic Americans.
- A critical summary means you don't just summarize that news item, but critically discuss the underlying assumptions, biases, and stereotypes about race and ethnicity that are produced
