Discussion: The Accuracy of Predictions

One aspect, central to Forensic Psychology is "prediction." What this means is that it is not so much our job to comment on what happened (or why it happened) but to use this information to make predictions about who the perpetrator might be, what they will do next, how they may respond to a interview, or treatment.

However the degree to which humans (even "experts") can make accurate predictions is often contested (for example very few predicted the financial Crash of 2008, or the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria). Need Assignment Help?
