Suppose that you, a researcher, want to better understand why the recidivism rate (the tendency of a convicted criminal to re-offend) is so high in the United States. Describe a non-experimental design addressing this issue. Make sure to address who the participants would be and how you'd recruit them, what the design of the study would be, and how you'd carry this study out.
