In retrospect, I am better able to recognize my initial managerial panic, and can better realize that in every organization, there exist times of difficulty. Such times call for departmental consultation, and each head is mandated to take responsibility where necessary. The existing problem falls under the event/ program organizer. The wedding ceremony must go on, and visitors should get treatment as expected of the organization's profile. Failure to plan in prior and have alternatives to the unexpected issues have caused the team to reach such a "top hill" scenario.
As a responsible member of the company, I am accommodating guests to dine in the nearby restaurant and book rooms for the likely number of visitors to attend the wedding ceremony. This takes place in consultation with other departmental and responsible individuals having the relevant information significant to the process. From our staff, I would communicate with our dining department in collaboration with the head chef and cooks to help in food preparation. After identifying the individuals required to prepare and serve meals to guests, I would then coordinate with the event organizer to confirm the podium arrangement relying on our history with our banquet coordinator (reliable source).
Location and place of the event must undergo preparation as early as expected. Laying on the carpet, dressing of tables and chairs, erecting of tents and seat arrangement should happen two hours to time. Though the situation seems horrible, recollecting every personnel and gathering at hand ideologies can solve the case.
Even though the situation seems desperate, after arranging for the meal preparation and booking a restaurant for visitors, all the attendees present will get food and a place to sleep. Bride and Bridegroom would use a particular car to their honeymoon accommodations on our prestigious property. Accompanied by immediate family and dignitaries, they will have their meal served at their wedding suite.
