Assignment:
Recall the background factors of supply; the first of which that we discussed were "Techniques of Supply". Your second analytic homework assignment involves looking at changes in these techniques for a single company, although the changes may be part of an industry-wide movement.
Pick a company. Analyze a change in one (or more if you like) technique(s) of supply within the last 5 years. Document your answers with data.
• Why and how did the company institute the change(s)?
• Did the change(%) improve performance - such as raise efficiency, increased profits, increase positive public perception, increase stock valuation, etc.?
OR
• Did the change(s) worsen performance - such as lower efficiency, reduce profits, decrease positive public perception, decrease stock valuation, etc.?
