Assignment:
My professional goals for this course and for my masters degree as a whole, is to further my career in Education. I am currently working in a small learning environment and I know that I want to broaden my education about it. I've only worked for 3 years and I know that this course and my future courses in my program will help me in learning about higher education history, policy, issues, and strategies. Knowing this will also help me to better serve my students to be successful in higher education, I feel you must know how to provide them with the best resources so they can be successful. My personal goals for the course are to continue to gain my knowledge on researching, writing in APA format, and documenting.
I enjoy doing research but I want to be able to be more effective when doing so. I believe my greatest challenge will come in writing at a scholarly level and researching effectively. Improving my writing is usually my greatest challenge. I feel writing does not flow naturally for me and is a constant work in progress.
