For this essay, describe the various the norms, practices, beliefs, traditions and values of your culture background. How do ideas regarding class, gender, sexuality and religion intersect with your racial/ethnic cultural understanding of yourself? Some other questions you may want to respond to in your essay are: How is conflict resolved in your culture? How have your own values and beliefs been influenced by your culture? How is your identity culturally bound? Have you ever been challenged regarding your cultural values and traditions? Have you ever been stereotyped because of your culture? If so, when?
