Problem:
A patient has a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter, and the doctor has recommended cardioversion to correct the abnormal rhythm. Informed consent was obtained. After adequate sedation and while the patient's heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation were being monitored, cardioversion was done successfully using 300 synchronized joules with which the patient converted to sinus bradycardia; however, she had frequent PACs. Please assign the appropriate CPT code for the cardioversion procedure.
