Assignment:

You are the COTA assisting the OTR in developing an Occupational Profile, which is a collection of the client's needs, problems and concerns related to their daily activities - things that they are having difficulty doing. The Occupational Profile is a part of the OT evaluation. This assignment is to help you become familiar with the OT Practice Framework, based on the following client scenario: Ann is a 50 year old woman who is happily married with three adult children, two of whom live with her at home. An elementary school teacher by profession, Ann had been feeling exhausted recently with occasional aches and feelings of numbness and prickling in her upper limbs. After a day of teaching, Ann enjoys returning home to garden in the backyard, clean the bird bath and replenish the bird feeder; she also enjoys playing the piano.

Ann didn't understand why she kept dropping brushes and sponges when cleaning the bird bath and was having difficulty coordinating her fingers to play the piano. After significant lab work and various medical consults. Ann was told that she had multiple sclerosis.
For each of the following Areas of Occupation, a domain within the OT Practice Framework, write two questions that you would ask Ann to get information for the Occupational Profile. Remember that your questions have to be pertinent and give you specific information to help ypu guide your treatments with this client.
