Developing a Job Description Select a health care profession or occupation and write a job description for it. It will be most helpful to use an occupation in which you have worked or for which you are preparing, subject to one condition: Since you will logically refer to the job description exhibits in the chapter to guide you (Exhibits 6-3 through 6-7), be sure to use an occupation other than those represented by the samples. Following completion of the job description, prepare a condensed description of that job in less than one-half page that could be used for recruiting purposes.
