What is a specific treatment plan using the CDC guideline for pain management in a 36 year old male who presents after a 3- week episode of lumbar back pain that began when he was doing yard work. The patient has no PMH and is on no medications. He states he did not take any medication or do any other measures to relieve his pain. He has no radiculopathy or radicular pain. It is isolated in the lumbar area but limits his mobility with activities of daily living. Use the pain theory resources provided in this week's module, and lumbar back pain standards of care.
