Assignment: Online Resources For Dataset
The project presents an opportunity for students to work hands-on with a real data set provided by a real company or can found online. Students are required to demonstrate their knowledge of the data analysis concepts and techniques in the context of a focused project. The project should focus on a data mining problem involving the analysis of one or more data sets and the application of statistical learning and data analysis methods using WEKA data analysis software application.
To do:
Search for a dataset and study it, filter the data, test algorithms by analyzing the data, interpret the results, this will give you a very good sense of application of statistics in data analysis work. There are many websites from where you can get a dataset, such as Quandl, UCI ML repository, ncbi, etc.

1) Develop analytical objectives based on existing or potential problems within an organization. 2) Construct suitable data sets to satisfy the requirements of the analytical objectives. 3) Develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytical models. 4) Determine effective analytical strategies for conducting data analysis. 5) Run incremental processes in order to validate the model and interpret the data. 6) Perform decision analysis using probability methods.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
