Use the following scenario to create an ER diagram data model. Make your model by using any suitable tool. A handwritten design is also accepted. Your homework can be submitted either as jpeg, pdf or Word document.
Consider the following note:
• Design an ER diagram to capture the requirements provided in the following scenarios.
• Use the Crow's Foot ERD.
• Write all the business rules that are reflected in the scenario.
• State any assumptions you have that affects your design.
• Make sure that you design includes a well presented entities, attributes, primary keys, ?relationships, cardinalities.
• Use a representative names for all elements of your ER diagram. ?Scenario: ?"Fun & Run" is a tour company. The company asks you to design its database. The company offers different tour packages for its customers in different cities. Each package involves different events. An event has a name, date, start time and last for a fixed duration of time. There are different types of events (e.g. historical, sport, attraction, ... etc.). Each type associated with age group and its suitability for family or individual. The customers can buy multiple tickets for any package they like. The ticket includes the total price. The company assigns one of its employee to manage and guide a package. The salary of the employee will be calculated based on the total hours he spent in guided his customers. The company keep records of the personal and communication information of all employees. "Fun & Run" provide an access to its club for the registered dependent of its employees.
