Problem: Ali, a primary school teacher wants to study the factors that influence student achievement. He's doing work in the library path and the Internet. He also conducted focus groups with students to identify factors that need to be studied. After going through this process he highlighted the following idea: good preparation by the teacher, student motivation, the use of appropriate teaching aids and types of subject (non-quantitative or quantitative) will help explain most of the variation in student achievement. He also believes this situation is enhanced by learning strategy because if students can adapt well with good and organized learning strategies then this will improve student achievement.
