Develop a strong thesis statement for that essay.
For a cause/effect essay:
You could discuss many current social situations in a cause-and-effect essay. Systemic racism, the climate crisis, or a conspiracy theory like Q-Anon are only a few examples.
You could treat your topic as a cause and write an essay discussing two or three effects. Or you could treat it as an effect and write an essay discussing two or three causes.
For a strong thesis statement, you only need two sentences. In the first sentence, establish the one main idea or topic you would like to get across. In the next sentence, briefly preview the main points that you will be giving to explain your main idea or topic. The preview of these main points will later become each of the body paragraphs of your essay.
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
